
Tom Orrell is a Freelance Music Producer, Audio Engineer, Mixing Engineer and Live Sound Engineer based in Leeds, UK.
After Graduating Leeds College of Music in 2014 with a 1st Class Honours Degree and the 'Olivier-Whittaker Award' for Interdisciplinary collaboration he began to work as a freelancer around Leeds doing live sound and production before getting involved at an incredible new (and then unnamed studio) in Stanningley, Leeds.
Now called 'The Nave', it has blossomed into 3 studio complex, and a thriving hub for recording music in Leeds. Since 2015 he has worked there as an in-house engineer and used it as a base for his own productions. Music he has worked on on has been played on BBC Radio 1, Radio 6 Music, Radio X and Amazing Radio amongst others.

As a Live Sound Engineer he has around many years experience touring venues and festivals in the UK and Europe. On a local level,l he is the Head Engineer at Hyde Park Book Club and Eiger Studios and also works as a n in house engineer at Brudenell Social Club, The Wardrobe, Headrow House, Belgrave and The Key Club amongst others around Leeds.
As a sideline to my Engineering and Production work he's also a Multi-Instrumentalist and Songwriter playing in Big Softy
